The Venice Newcomers Club is a non-profit organization of new, full-time residents of the Venice, Florida area.   The club exists for the sole purpose of giving its members a jump start in making new, local, social contacts.

The club is open to all full-time residents of Venice, Nokomis, and Laurel who have moved to the area within the last three years.

Scheduled activities provide  opportunities for new residents to form new friendships with people and groups who share common interests.

All officers and activity leaders are members of the Newcomers Club who volunteer their time and energy to arrange monthly activities and other events of interest to the general membership.

Newcomers Club members are introduced to area sports, theaters, concerts, ballet, museums, restaurants, and other places of interest in Southwest Florida.  Activities are varied and most people can find one or several to fit their interests.
